Hi Folks,
The time has come! We are still hard at work on our accounts system, so we are going to start rolling out manual invites until we get the system up and running.
What you need to do:
Keep an eye on your email. If you receive an email from City State Entertainment asking for a list of guild member email addresses, please send them to us ASAP. We will manually invite each member to our Founder's Forums. Please keep in mind that you don’t have to use all (or any) of your invites now. You will have plenty of opportunity to do so over the next two years. However, please pay particular attention to what it says below about what will happen once you send us those names.
REMINDER:
Please re-read the below conditions again to remind yourselves of the terms we've set for these forums invites.
It’s important that you fully understand the consequences of these invites. City State Entertainment is taking a “hands off” approach with regard to what happens with your Founder's Forum invites once you give them out. In other words, these invites are yours to hand out to people you trust. Once handed out they cannot be revoked or replaced. We will of course deactivate any account that breaks any of our Terms of Service, yet that will be the extent of our regulation in regard to these invites, so use them wisely. In other words, if you decide that six minutes or six months from now that you want to reclaim your invite, you will not be able to do so.
We are taking our time with the account editor precisely because we have to take this approach. Since you are the account holder who backed use through Kickstarter and/or PayPal, you bear the responsibility for distributing your guild’s accounts. If you decide to give out all of your accounts and then you and one of those people have a falling out, you cannot recall those invites nor deactivate them. Now, this doesn't mean you will be forced to be in a guild with them (it is your guild, you can invite/un-invite anyone you wish) but once you give out that account, that player becomes our customer whether it is just for the forums or later, for the game itself. You will remain the main contact point and “guild tier” holder but each of those invitees will have their own individual account.
We appreciate your patience as we finalize this system. I will keep you informed as we move forward.
Kind regards,
--
