Update: Xaycon hat inzwischen bekanntgegeben, dass das tatsächliche Release am 11. November ist! Somit wird das Spiel ab dem 8. November zwar ausgeliefert, aber der eigentliche Startschuss ist erst am 11. November!

that EverQuest II is scheduled to simultaneously ship to North American and
European retail stores on November 8, 2004. EverQuest II is the

Players will hear more than 70,000 lines of spoken dialogue in EverQuest II as
non-player characters are given voiceover for the first time ever in an MMO
game bringing the story of EverQuest II to life. EverQuest II also features
gameplay innovations that make EverQuest II fun and exciting for all types of
players and play styles, from hardcore gamers, to new MMO players, to those
who play in groups, and solo players.
EverQuest II comes in three versions, all of which include a 30-day
subscription (excluding SOE All Access subscriptions) to the game's online
world. The CD version and DVD versions of the game carry an SRP of $49.99 and

Limited quantities of the EverQuest II Collector's Edition (DVD) are

walls of a player's house, magical talking statues of Antonia and Lucan

EverQuest II carries a monthly subscription fee of $14.99 for continuing

Aus 14,99 $ werden fluchs 14,99 € und dann kommen natürlich noch die 17,5% digitaler Zoll drauf, also rechnet mal eher mit 17,99 € , oder aber mindestens 14,99 € ;)

Abgesehen davon ist das Datum bei dem momentanen Stand der Beta ein absoluter Witz. Da wird das Skillsystem sowohl beim Adventurn als auch beim Carften geändert, die Zonen crashen alle par Minuten und kommen ncihtmehr up, es fehlt noch reichlich Content, diese Aufzählung lässt sich beliebig lang fortführen.

Und nur weil Blizz egstern angekündigt hat, dass WoW am 22.11. released wird, meint Sony jetzt unbedingt nachziehen zu müssen. Das ist echt mal wieder eine derbe Kundenverar***e.

Ich bin gespannt.

Komisch, ich hab jemanden reden gehört/schreiben sehen das EQ2 der Kracher wird und auf SOE Verlass ist in Sachen Qualität ... als er grad in DAoC sein Haus verkauft und seinen Acc gecancelt hat ;)

Ich hoffe stark das Sony noch einige Asse im Ärmel hat, denn die haben sie jetzt bitter nötig. Für 15 bzw. 18€ pro Monat werde ich mir das Spiel so wie es im Moment ist sicher nicht antun :rolleye:

Wir werden sehen ... vielleicht heisst es am Ende ja doch für mich "Welcome to New Frontiers" bzw. "Welcome to Catacombs" ;)

So schlecht, dass ich wieder DAoC spiele kann das Spiel garnicht sein, zur Not spiel ich halt erstmal 2-3 Monate WoW Beta *g*.

Da hier noch Planetside in der Ecke liegt, werde ich mir dann wohl den SOE All Access zulegen, dann kann ich für 21,99 $ alles daddeln was SOE so anbietet (naja bis auf SWG leider :rolleye: ), wenn EQ2 wie damals angekündigt da mit drin sein wird.
