1 - Pre-order packs
- Packs are available in English language only
- Pre-orders have been available to purchase since 10th February from selected retailers. Please see

- You will get two keys with the pre-order pack, one is for the VIP beta access and the other for your headstart and in-game bonus items
VIP Beta access
- On your COG account
www.codemasters.com/cog you will need to create a subscription to the DUNGEONS & DRAGONS ONLINE™: Stormreach™ BETA using the beta account provided to get into the beta and play right now
- You will have access for up to 10 days, after which the beta subscription will be de-activated and you will no longer be able to use it
- Also, if time runs out and we hit release before you have had a chance to use up 10 days, the subscription will be de-activated
- Characters created in the beta are NOT transfereable into the live game
Head Start Access and in-game bonus items
- Right now, you will not be able to input your head start access/in-game bonus key into the COG player accounts system. This will be enabled closer to commencement of the head start programme
- Once this has been enabled, people with the UK version of the head start access will be able to enter the game several days, (around 28th Febraury) before launch (which is on 3rd March)
- When the head start programme is about to start you will be able to use your head start access key. You will need to create a new/separate subscription to the DUNGEONS & DRAGONS ONLINE™: Stormreach™ option from the drop down menu and use your head start key there.
- Once the game goes retail and you have purchased your retail or collector's edition pack, then you will need to update your full retail key on your DUNGEONS & DRAGONS ONLINE™: Stormreach™ subscription for your DDO account to remain active
- Once we go live, you will have up to 5 days to purchase and input a full retail key before the account is de-activated (this is not permanent, it will just prevent you from playing anymore until you enter a vaild full retail key).
- Once you are in the retail version of the game, each one of your characters on your account will be awarded the in-game bonus items
2 - Collector's Edition packs
- There will be three language versions of the Collector's edition packs available - English, French and German
- In France and Germany, as there is a slight delay on the localised versions, people will be able to buy a copy in English if they wish at the same time as the rest of Europe. These packs however are in limited supply. Please confirm with your retailer which version exactly it is that you will be buying from them
- Any French or German customers buying the UK language version of the game will still be able to start at the same time as all the other English language players
- The collector's edition will also give access to the head start programme. If you have the English version, head start access will begin around 28th February. If you have French or German version, the head start will begin on 17th March with extra time included before the 24th March official release date as a small gift for the extra wait
- The French and German Collector's packs will have an extra in-box item too! More on this when I get the details
- We are still waiting to announce the full contents of the Collector's edition packs
About languages
- Any language version of the game will be able to play on any of the European servers.
- there are no language specific servers, people are free to play where they like
- If French and German customers buy the English Collector's edition or pre-order they will be able to play on any of the EU servers
- If people live in a French or German language country but wish to continue plkaying in English then all they need to do is patch up their beta/pre-order client using the built-in patcher. Do NOT install your French or German client over the top
