Vermutlich nicht ganz neu, aber dennoch interessant ist Mythics Seite zum Foundations Addon für DAoC. Das Foundations Addon wird zum kostenlosen download zur Verfügung stehen und DAoC um die Möglichkeit für Spieler erweitern, Häuser zu besitzen.
[more]Jedes Reich wird und 3 spezielle Karten erweitert (Hibernia: Meath , Torrylin , Kilcullen ), in denen es Spielern möglich sein wird, Häuser zu erwerben, die dann über eine wöchentliche Miete finanziert werden müssen. Es wird auch möglich sein ein Haus in ein "Gildenhaus" umzuwandeln.
In einem Haus kann man dann z.b. einen Händler plazieren, der gecraftete oder gefundene Items verkauft:
Consignment Merchants
So you've got some finely crafted armor you've just hammered out at the forge, or maybe you've picked up some treasure on your last dungeon crawl that you'd like to sell but you can't find the time to find a willing buyer. Adding a consignment merchant to your home is the perfect solution. Hiring a consignment merchant requires that you have a side porch add-on. After that, you just need to buy the merchant from the deed merchant in the central market area. Once you've purchased the merchant, drop the consignment merchant item in your inventory anywhere on the outside of the house. The merchant will appear immediately on the side porch and will be ready to get to work selling your items. Right-click on the merchant to open his inventory. Now, drop each item into the merchant storage window. Once you've got all the items into the merchants inventory window, its time to set the price. The command looks like this:
/setprice [slotnum] [price]
The very first slot is 0 and increases from there downward. Once you've got everything set, you can walk away and your merchant will do the rest of the work. When you come back, you can collect your earnings by standing at your house and typing /settle.
Please note that consignment merchants in each zone may, at some point in the future, be tied together into a zonewide shopping system. Zonewide being defined as: that zone's 200 consignement merchants together. Please plan accordingly when purchasing your house.
