Hier der original Text: [more]
We received over 90,000 applications for Beta participation (not all of which were unique and therefore needed to be merged). We selected well over 200 participants from that extensive list to participate during Beta I & II. In addition Atari and Artifact Entertainment staff participated in Beta I & II. In order to handle the thousands of necessary participants for the next phase of Beta, Atari has agreed to merge our database with theirs. As a result, anyone who signed up with us should receive an email notifying them of their new access to their beta information at Atari's beta site. If you signed up with us previously and have not been notified, please sign up at the Atari site to be sure to be eligible for selection.
There is no special preference given to posters on this site or any of the many other sites that host Horizons content. It would be difficult for us to be sure of anyones identity and unfair to any follower of Horizons who did not feel the need to post their opinions, but instead preferred to read what others posted. For those of you excited to participate in Horizons, I'm sorry that we are not ready for everyone at this time (if we were, we'd launch the game). As soon as we are (we are quite confident in Fall of this year) we will be happy to have everyone play. Thank you for your interest in Horizons,
David

Beta 3 is not scheduled for this week. We currently have it planned for next and it appears that we will keep to that schedule (we're here at 10:35 pm for a reason). We will let everyone know when the CDs ship (at the very least I'll stop by the different sites and post just to relieve some of the stress that this appears to be causing).
